BlockEmpire Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2, 2026

1. Introduction

This policy applies to BlockEmpire, a mobile block-puzzle game published under the Ghostwhirl brand. It describes local game information and information handled by the advertising services used in the game.

2. Information we collect

Information stored by the game

The game stores scores, best score, progression, coins, game statistics, preferences, reward claims and cooldowns, and a selected age category locally on your device. It does not request an exact date of birth. There is no player login, online account, chat, or cloud profile in the current game. A “player profile” refers to this local game save, not an online identity.

Information collected automatically by advertising services

When advertising services are enabled, Google Mobile Ads and related Google Play services may process IP address (which can indicate approximate location), device and operating-system information, advertising or other identifiers where permitted, ad interactions, app interactions, and diagnostics such as crash and performance information. Collection depends on SDK behavior, device settings, age treatment, consent and applicable law. The game does not directly read GPS location or advertising identifiers, and has no separate gameplay analytics or crash-reporting service connected in its current implementation.

Information you provide

You may select an age range or contact the developer. If you email us, the email provider and recipient process your email address and message to respond. Please do not send passwords, identity documents or sensitive information.

3. Advertising

BlockEmpire integrates Google AdMob. Advertising services may use permitted identifiers and other information to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and maintain security. Personalization depends on privacy choices, age treatment, device settings and applicable law. Test/development builds use Google test ads. Production advertising remains unavailable until its privacy configuration is completed.

See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s advertising information.

4. Optional rewarded ads

You may choose to watch rewarded ads for Free Chest coins, Undo, Shuffle, Continue, or Double Coins. Watching these ads is optional; normal gameplay does not require viewing a rewarded ad. Rewards are granted only after the advertising SDK confirms completion. Unavailable or incomplete ads do not grant rewards.

5. Consent

Where required, a privacy message lets eligible users consent, refuse consent where offered, and manage options before ads are requested. Permission to request ads does not necessarily mean consent to personalized ads. If consent services fail, gameplay remains available, while advertising may be unavailable.

6. EEA, UK and Switzerland

The game integrates Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request current consent information and display configured consent messages when required. Availability depends on the published messages configured for the app. Settings → Privacy / Age settings → Privacy Choices reopens Google’s privacy-options form when UMP requires that option. Local test builds may bypass production consent to preserve test-ad functionality.

7. Children and mixed audience

BlockEmpire may be played by children and adults. The first production launch asks for Under 13, 13–17, or 18 or older; no exact birth date is collected. Unknown ages cannot request production ads. Under-13 users receive child age treatment, non-personalized ad requests, a general-audience (G) maximum ad content rating, and disabled publisher first-party identifiers. By default, teens also receive conservative under-consent and child ad treatment because the broad age range cannot identify every regional consent threshold. Adults still need UMP permission. We do not knowingly request personalized ads for identified children. These safeguards are not a claim of COPPA certification. Parents may contact us about privacy concerns.

8. Third-party services

Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads, Google UMP, and their Google Play services dependencies operate under Google’s policies. The game has no configured independent Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics or third-party mediation integration in its current implementation. Installing the game, opening external links, or using a device app store may involve services governed by their own policies.

9. Data retention

The game retains its local save and age choice until app data is cleared, overwritten or removed; operating-system backup behavior may affect local data. No developer-operated game-data backend is present. Advertising providers retain information according to their policies. Privacy correspondence is retained as needed to respond and meet applicable obligations.

10. Security

We use available platform safeguards and restrict application data to what the current features require. Local saves are not encrypted by the game and should not contain secrets. No storage or transmission system is completely secure.

11. Your choices

12. International processing

Third-party providers may process information in countries outside your location, under their stated safeguards and privacy policies.

13. Changes

We may update this policy when game features, integrations or requirements change. The last-updated date will reflect revisions. Material changes may require additional notice or privacy choices.
